Wearing a tie can make you go blind!
Wearing a tie could make you go blind, according to an amazing
new study by medical researchers.
The flow of blood and oxygen to the brain and eyes can be
restricted by neckties, says Dr. Donald Powell of New York's Cornell
University.
Eye specialists have conducted a medical study comparing the
sight of men wearing ties with those in open-neck shirts.
The study proved that men who wear their ties too tightly
could suffer impaired vision and even partial blindness.
"Those wearing ties could not tell the difference between a
steady beam of light and a flickering light," said Dr. Powell.
"But those with open shirts could tell the difference
immediately."
