"NEW HOPE FOR MANKIND
Rio de Janeiro - A Brazilian doctor has developed a new surgical technique
for lengthening the human penis, a paper here reported yesterday.
The daily O Globo reported that the new surgery was developed by Dr. Mario
Degni, a specialist in sexual impotence and a professor at Catholic Univer-
sity of Campinas, in Sao Paolo state.
Named the Surgeon of the Century this year by the U.S. International College
of Surgeons, Dr. Degni said he had conducted two successful operations on
penises, lengthening them by an average of one half inch. He said the operatio
n does not deform the penis, and that patients undergoing the surgery can retur
n to sexual activity after three days of hospitalization and one month of
recuperation.
Dr. Degni said his penis-prologation operation could cure millions of men
traumatized by the diminutive size of their organs.
The surgeon said he would reveal the specifics of his new technique at the
September 8 opening of the second International Symposium on Masculine
Sexual Impotence in Sao Paolo.
