David Letterman last night:
"I was awakened at 6:30 this morning by the maid, saying the 5 words I
just dread to hear: 'The monkey's had an accident.'"
One of my colleagues here and his wife are about to have their first
baby. He's known for his calm, laid-back demeanor. That is, until
today, when informed that his wife's doctor had decided to induce
labor. He proceeded to inform someone that "I have to go -- they've
decided to induce pregnancy!"
Somehow, we thought he should be there for that....
